Caitlin Agnew is a Toronto-based freelance writer and editor. She's a regular contributor to The Globe and Mail, where she writes the weekly Ritual column on the latest beauty and wellness crazes, the weekly Retail Therapy column looking at new and novel stores across Canada and the weekly Style News column. Caitlin is also the contributing beauty editor at The Globe and Mail Style Advisor Magazine and the regular grooming writer for men’s magazine Sharp. She has been published in FASHION, FLARE, ELLE Canada, The Toronto Star, The Kit, S/ Magazine, Reader's Digest Canada, Best Health and Chatelaine and online at xovain, She Does the City and Torontoist.

Prior to freelancing, Caitlin spent four years at FASHION Magazine where she worked her way up the masthead after joining as an editorial intern. In 2014, Caitlin left the print world to launch W Dish, a digital lifestyle companion to Corus Entertainment's W Network. Caitlin also works with a range of Canadian lifestyle brands on content and ideation and loves helping female business owners develop their own brand voice and strategy.

Caitlin has a Master of Arts in Germanic Languages and Literatures from the University of Toronto, where she also completed her Hons. BA in European Studies, German Studies and History at Trinity College. When she's not working on stories about Toronto's most stylish couples or the latest skincare innovations, she loves to travel, either in real life or via books and movies.
