Caitlin Agnew is a Toronto-based freelance writer and editor. She's a contributing beauty and digital editor at The Globe and Mail, where she writes their weekly Ritual column on the latest beauty and wellness crazes as well as their Style Newsletter, a must-read report on Canadian style news. Caitlin is also a regular contributor to FASHION Magazine and has been published in FLARE, ELLE Canada, The Toronto Star, The Kit, Sharp, Reader's Digest Canada and Chatelaine and online at xovain, She Does the City and Torontoist.
Prior to freelancing, Caitlin spent four years at FASHION Magazine where she worked her way up the masthead after joining as an editorial intern. In 2014, Caitlin left the print world to launch W Dish, a digital lifestyle companion to Corus Entertainment's W Network. Caitlin also lends her voice to custom content, social media and event ideation for a range of Canadian fashion and beauty brands.
Caitlin has a Master of Arts in Germanic Languages and Literatures from the University of Toronto, where she also completed her Hons. BA in European Studies, German Studies and History at Trinity College. When she's not working on stories about Toronto's most stylish couples or the latest skincare innovations, she loves to travel, either in real life or via the movies.
